9 Data Management
9.1 Data security and archiving
The Project Manager responsible for all survey data shall ensure that original sensor datagrams are archived on a suitable media and stored in a safe location promptly after acquisition. Processed data shall be backed-up on a daily basis on a suitable media and stored in a safe location.
10 Reporting
10.1 Reporting of Navigational Hazards
Upon discovery of any depth or obstruction that may be considered a hazard to navigation, the Project Manager shall inform the closest Canadian Coast Guard office and have a Navigational Warning issued.
All actions shall be documented and a copy sent to the Regional Director of Hydrography and the Regional Manager of Hydrographic Surveys, who will initiate appropriate actions.
